Cure your sweaty palms with one of these treatments
As I got older I got more and more annoyed with the fact my palms were sweating almost all the time. It started undermining my self esteem and I didn’t like the way I started behaving around people because I was constantly scared someone will notice just how wet are my palms.
I was prepared to do pretty much anything to get rid of sweaty palms and in my pursuit for the ultimate cure I’ve found three remedies that can help you make the sweating less intense or in some cases even get rid of it completely.
1. 20% AlCl solution
This is a mixture you can get from your doctor and in it will usually successfully block sweating with people who are suffering for mild to moderate cases of sweating. It should be applied every other day over night. You have to be careful to apply it on dry skin because if your palms are sweating when you’re applying it you’ll probably get your skin irritated. The good thing about this remedy is that it’s non-invasive and cheap. However a lot of people report that it loses its effectiveness in time.
2. ETS
ETS is a surgical procedure where the surgeon cuts your nerves that trigger sweating in your palms and will thus permanently cure your palms from sweating. Even though this is the most successful treatment when everything goes right it’s also the most dangerous one. So, not only is it very expensive and will cost you an arm and a leg but there is also a high probability you’ll suffer from what’s called “compensatory sweating” which means you’ll start sweating on your back, chest and on your face. In most cases ETS makes live of people who choose to do it even worse. It is definitely not recommended.
3. Iontophoresis
Iontophoresis is a treatment where a device is used which sends small electrical current to water while you put your palms in it for 10-20 minutes. It’s still not been determined why exactly iontophoresis works but it’s been recognized as one of the most effective treatments available to people with palmar hyperhidrosis. There are basically no side effects with it and it only takes 20 minutes once in a few weeks to keep your palms from sweating again. The only downside to this treatment is that devices for iontophoresis usually cost thousands of dollars and a lot of people report they can’t get consistent results with them.
This is why I’ve researched just how do iontophoresis devices work and I’ve discovered how to build one from scratch for less then twenty dollars. Not only it costs only a small fraction of the commercial devices but I’ve also discovered a way to make it basically 100% effective. Up to now hundreds of people used my design and I have yet to find someone for whom it won’t work.
